Upgrade! Oklahoma City is a monthly gathering of new media artists, curators, engineers, computer programmers and enthusiasts held at the Untitled [ArtSpace] in Oklahoma City. Each meeting consists of one or two speakers that present work which becomes the topic of discussion. Although presenters will primarily consist of regional people, national and international artists will periodically be invited.

The function of the organization is to provide an interdisciplinary forum that fosters collaboration, exchange and opportunity between its members. The programmatic emphasis of The Upgrade! Oklahoma City is to encourage the exchange of ideas between media, science, technology and culture with the group encompassing a broad range of interdisciplinary participants. Membership is open to anyone who shares an interest in the effects of new media on culture. All are encouraged to attend.

The Upgrade! was started by Yael Kanarek in 1999 and is currently
hosted by Eyebeam, New York City. Upgrade! affiliates include Vancouver (2003, curated by Kate Armstrong), Montreal (2004, curated by Tobias C.), Seoul (2005, curated by Suhjung Hur) Tel Aviv (2005, curated by Mushon Zer Aviv), Boston (2005, curated by Jo-Anne Green & Catherine D'Ignazio) and Munich (2005, curated by Tamiko Thiel).
