2019 Steamroller Festival

Go ahead and mark your calendars for the 2019 Steamroller Festival for Saturday, April 27th, 2019! Our Steamroller Festival is our largest community event of the year, bringing hundreds of people from all over to the Deep Deuce District of Oklahoma City. This one day festival is rooted in the printing of large-scale woodblocks carved by local Oklahoma artists! We’ll have artist vendors, food trucks and live music throughout the day!

It is sure to be a fun, art-filled day with live music, food, artist vendors and community supporting and exhibiting Oklahoma artists.

Join us on October 26th for the Exquisite Corpse All Hallow's Eve Celebration and Auction! You will be immersed in a ghostly, out of this world celebration that includes art, music, food, drink, games, auctions, and much more! This event not only celebrates the Exquisite Corpse exhibition of 60 local artists, but is also Artspace’s fundraising event so we can keep providing Oklahoma students with educational opportunities, the community with quality exhibitions and a space for artists to come and create.

Closing Reception: Once Old is New

On Thursday, August 9th, from 5:00-8:00 PM we will be hosting the Once Old is New closing reception! Join us and members of the OKC Modern Quilt Guild as we celebrate the artistry and success of our most recent exhibit. Attendees will be able to view two quilt demos while enjoying complimentary refreshments. This night also commences the quilt sale which will last till August 18th. During the sale, all large group quilts can be purchased 20% off. Free and open to everyone.

Join us for the Opening Reception of Fluvial terra by Megan Singleton! Fluvial terra features paper and installation work by Megan Singelton that was inspired by her travel west from Missouri to Oklahoma. Singleton utilizes locally foraged soil and plant fibers to create artistic interpretations of the landscape and vegetation found in Oklahoma.

Kunc is an accomplished artist that has been dedicated to her printmaking process for over twenty-five years.
