Join us for one of the state's most unique festivals!
Free and open to the public, the Steamroller Print Festival is Oklahoma's largest annual printmaking festival. This celebration of local artists unites communities across the state with festivities, live printing, local vendors, food & beer trucks, and more! Featuring 200 artists and OKCPS students yearly, witness relief prints created by a 5-ton steamroller and enjoy hands-on activities for all!
Free printmaking demos inside and outside the space will run throughout the day, offering multiple opportunities to walk away with free artwork from local artists. With activities for all ages, this festival promises a memorable experience.
The annual Steamroller Print Festival is the largest fundraising event for ARTSPACE at Untitled, supporting our arts education nonprofit. In 2024, we aim to raise $75K to benefit our Mentorship Program, which serves over 150 Oklahoma County children, teens, and young adults. We collaborate with other nonprofits weekly, providing quality arts programming to the community. Our program focuses on Title 1 schools and welcomes at-risk students with any level of art knowledge. It's always free, with food provided.
Students spend an entire class day each month in our studio and are encouraged to use the studio outside of class. We also offer after-school and summer programs as well! Your involvement in the Steamroller Print Fest helps us maintain this fantastic resource and continue providing support to our community.

History of the Festival
In 2013, ARTSPACE at Untitled inaugurated its first Steamroller Print Festival, drawing over 100 attendees to the Deep Deuce District. By 2017, the festival had grown substantially, prompting us to collaborate with local businesses and organizations. The eve of the festival saw the introduction of a lively Cinco de Mayo mixology party featuring live music, meet-and-greet sessions with Big Ink artists, and culinary delights from some of Oklahoma City's premier establishments.
The dedication of our talented artists, volunteers, sponsors, and collaborators played a pivotal role in transforming the festival into a day-long celebration. In 2018, the momentum continued with an expansion that included over 100 participating artists and the support of 24 sponsors. The festival became a platform for students from our Mentorship Program, college students, and artists from across the state and region to showcase their talents and engage with the community.
The Steamroller Print Festival involves a fascinating process of using a steamroller as a printing press. Participants carve intricate designs onto massive woodblocks, which are then inked and pressed onto fabric using the sheer force of a steamroller, thus creating a giant stamp.
The Steamroller Print Festival has grown yearly and was proud to have over 2,500 visitors in 2023. The festival's success and expansion underscore its journey from a modest start to a thriving annual event showcasing the collective impact of the Oklahoma art scene—join us in the celebration of creativity and community in 2024.
