Join us on Saturday, March 10th from 1-4pm for our first workshop by Artist in Residence Emma Difani!
Emma is a practicing illustrator, painter, and printmaker and will be instructing participants on how to create designs and "etch" them onto milk cartons which will then be pressed onto their choice of rice paper. Once the paper goes through the press, she will then show everyone how to cut and assemble their paper into unique lanterns!
All participants will learn a new, environmentally friendly printmaking technique and leave with a functioning artful object and/or a fine art print.
This workshop is open to everyone with all supplies and tools provided! Participants can bring their own milk cartons if they would like to make multiple designs.
