A Monster Holiday with Allin KHG

You are cordially invited to join Oklahoma City-based artist Allin KHG for A Monster Holiday at [Artspace] at Untitled on December 16th from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. The event will feature his Muses for a Nightmare art toys, repurposed animatronic toys that are stripped down, frequently modified and spray painted. The show will also include a collection of new works and a nativity set. The art toys will be available for purchase at several price points and make perfectly quirky holiday gifts!

Several of his whimsical toys appeared in the music video for the band doubleVee’s song What You Deserve, with the video being screened at the event and the festive atmosphere encouraging interaction with Allin’s artwork. doubleVee is comprised of Allan and Barb Vest, whose debut album “The Moonlit Fables of Jack the Rider” was released this year. Critics have called their music “courageously unconventional” and said What You Deserve has background strings and whistles suggesting a stroll down a twisted version of Sesame Street.

This is a come & go event and is free and open to everyone! See you there.
