In this session, we will cover the fundamental techniques of shaping and stabilizing as we create elegant quilted cylinders and bowls. Once you master the basics of the "Third Dimension," you’ll have the skills to unlock endless variations and sculptural forms for your future projects.
Class Details Skill Level: Suitable for those comfortable with a sewing machine.
What You Will Learn The basics of working with heat-shapeable batting. How to construct freestanding quilted structures. Techniques for manipulating shapes to create unique 3D textures.
Required Supply List Please bring the following items to class: Sewing Machine in good working order. Standard Sewing Kit: Pins, scissors, thread, etc. Sewing Clips: Highly recommended for this project (available at Michaels or online).
