Donald Longcrier's Facing the Desert

The work of Norman artist Donald G. Longcrier, Facing the Desert, featured a contemplative arrangement of large found-object sculptures consisting of simple industrial materials and a new group of paintings relating to the sculptures. Longcrier received his MFA in 1994 from the University of Oklahoma in painting and is currently teaching sculpture and advanced drawing there.
