Melissa Jacobs lives in Oklahoma City and creates portraits influenced by representations of women in history and popular culture, especially as communicated through the internet. She makes her portraits in her lovely studio surrounded by her delightful garden and creative family. Melissa received her Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from The University of Oklahoma.
