Hand Dyed Flowy Vest  

Come make this dramatic but simple vest. No skill or sewing required. You will learn to use fiber reactive dyes, creating dramatic patterns on chiffon silk while leaving a very soft hand.  Using multiple tye techniques, to create pattern and apply permanent dyes to dazzle. You will be able to use these techniques on other natural fibers for fiber art and clothing. You will leave with your version of this fascinating vest. It folds well for travel and is washable. 4 hrs Saturdays.

Class fee includes all tools/supplies and fiber - $75 

Supplies provided – Silk Chiffon Fabric for one vest, dyes, brushes, string, rubber gloves and tools. Students can purchase additional fabric to make additional vest.

Skill – No skill required, just enthusiasm. Maximum 10 students.
